Forth coming events for 2007

Regatta 2007

Although the day was overcast start with and with rain spreading in by mid afternoon, that didn't stop our friends and supporters coming out to support the  Regatta. The stalls holders on the green again added appeal to the event and our thanks go them, although we packed up early because of the rain and the lack of the Helicopter due to operational requirements we felt it went very well.

The Guild raised on the day over £ 3,500 which is a magnificent achievement and our thanks must go to all the sponsors, the guild members, the crew and their wives for all the hard effort that was put into putting this event on and a big thank you to all who came.

Winners of the following races were

Motorboat Race            Mr "Wiggy" Simmonds in a RIB

Raft Race                      The Four young men who won last year.

Best Dressed Raft        Were the "Bembridge Bees Knees"

Junior Winners              The Scout group
